Meet Stephanie, an advice-only financial advisor located in Bergen County, NJ. Stephanie founded Stargazer Financial Planning in 2024 in order to empower people from all walks of life to achieve their financial goals and reach financial independence on their terms. She encourages her clients to take an active role in understanding their unique financial circumstances. Stephanie focuses on education and encourages clients to come to her firm for financial planning guidance when needed. The firm does not require a minimum net worth or asset level to work together.

Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Minor in Accounting. She began her career in the Operations Analyst program at Merrill Lynch. Afterward, she held various operations and project management roles at large financial institutions. Stephanie spent seven years at Brigade Capital Management before leaving the institutional side of finance to follow her dream of making personal financial planning accessible to everyone. She completed the Certified Financial Planner CFP® Certificate Program at Northwestern University and passed the CFP® Exam in 2023. Stephanie formed Stargazer Financial Planning in 2024. Stephanie helps clients on an advice-only basis and charges an hourly fee. Her firm does not require a minimum investment amount or long-term commitment.

During her career journey and transition, Stephanie chose to consistently and independently further her knowledge on personal finance and financial planning topics. It is truly her passion. Stephanie has been sought out by friends and family for many years to assist with their investment and financial education. Her mission is to spread personal financial awareness, skills and confidence to all that desire it.

Besides talking personal finance with anyone and everyone, Stephanie’s hobbies include hiking, yoga, gardening, reading and chasing after her three young kids. Ask her how she ended up a New York Yankees and Philadelphia Eagles fan!
